About the history of Beridze’s family has heard almost all Georgia.
Years ago mother has lost one child, diagnosis was Dilated cardiomyopathy. A new ordeal has been added to the pain caused by the death of a child, the second son George was diagnosed with the same disease.
Mother fights to save the life of her second child!
George Beridze is 17 years old. He suddenly got worse, conducted researches have diagnosed rare heart disease – Dilated cardiomyopathy.
It is already 1 month since the diagnosis was made, the condition of the boy is unstable, ejection fraction of heart is less than 10% and requires constant medication, supervision of doctors.
George’s heart stopped beating for several times and as a result of great effort of the doctors it started beating again.
The only chance to survive is a heart transplantation, which can’t be performed in Georgia. The cost of performing of a such kind of operation abroad is $ 12000.
The family is doing everything possible to mobilize amount on time and be able to transport George. However, it is very difficult to find such funds without the support of the society.
