Milena was immediately transported by ambulance from the occupied territories, in particular from Abkhazia, to M. Iashvili Central Childrens Hospital in Tbilisi.
The patient had severe fractures as a result of falling from a height. Namely fractures of the upper extremities and the 6th vertebra of the neck, in which the spinal cord was damaged.
She underwent an emergency surgery in Iashvili Clinic by excellent neurosurgeons.
The 6th vertebra was completely replaced. Due to the spinal cord injury, the lower extremities are damaged and the child has no sensitivity …
Milena, in order to stand on her feet again and be able to walk independently, she urgently needs to undergo rehabilitation abroad.
